Today I want to say that China is there as an example. They already went through the worst and I’m sure we are gonna learn from them.
Congratulations, China. __________________ Social Anxiety and Depression. Cluster C traits. Trying to improve my English. My apologies for errors and mistakes in advance. Mankind is complex: Make deserts blossom and lakes die. ( GIL SCOTT-HERSON) |

Well, it doesn't affect me much because I hardly go out. But when I went out yesterday to shop people have masks and gloves.

But I'm not just scared of getting sick myself. I don't want to potentially pass it on to anyone else. People without symptoms infecting others is a major issue and it's why staying at home if you're ill isn't enough. I also feel bad for leaving my coworkers with a higher work load. But damn it, if they'd just arrange for us to work from home, I'd do it! (To be honest, I don't think anyone cares enough about the job to get stressed over it , but I still feel bad.) |

There are people who didn’t take it seriously in Italy and they already overcome China in mortality. __________________ Social Anxiety and Depression. Cluster C traits. Trying to improve my English. Parts of the country are already on lockdown here and it looks like my city will be next. I hope so much that it also includes staying at home for all non-essential professions! I read on Twitter trains are still packed. It's irresponsible. What good will any of the measures do if you still pack people together on the way to work?
I'm trying to avoid reading the news too much now. I watched one video on YT about how soap kills the virus and suddenly I had nothing but Corona related videos in my recommended list. NO, GO AWAY!! Especially videos on the symptons and how it goes day to day. I'm sure they were made with good intentions but all they do is scare people. Today for some reason my anxiety is up again. I think the idea of a lockdown may be contributing. On the one hand hand it's a relief that there'll finally be some more drastic measures to protect everyone but on the other hand it really hits how serious this situation is. And I'm scared about things never getting back to normal. P.s. possibly TMI does anyone else's anxiety make them pee more? It's one side effect of anxiety for me, and on top of that it causes a dry mouth which makes me drink more water. Usually just annoying but now it's getting worrying that I'm on my last roll of toilet paper I honestly hate people who hoard everything. So glad it's not that time of the month yet.... it'd be horrible to be out of toilet paper! |

And just when I had managed to calm myself down a bit with distraction, I get a message from a friend back home who is now also sick.... Back to freaking out!

Here the same, not all non essential works have been suspended. The authority in my country on sanitary alarms offered an explanation. And compared the differences between the case in China and the case in Europe. So, according to him, in countries such us, Italy, Spain, Germany or France the right measures have been taken to keep a balance between an effective fight against the pandemia and don’t force the Economy in an unliveable way. Now, it’s on your hand to believe it or not. I don’t have still enough information to give a founded opinion. P.S.: When you have to go out for groceries, please be careful, wear mask and gloves and especially go to places where people use masks because still I found some supermarkets that emphasize on the gloves thing but don’t say anything about masks. And there have been contagious. __________________ Social Anxiety and Depression. Cluster C traits. Trying to improve my English. My apologies for errors and mistakes in advance. And now my own symptoms are coming back + anxiety back. Wow. And this morning I thought my cold was over with. Now it's come back with a vengenace. Sore throat mostly but also generally feeling a bit blah. Sure some of it could be anxiety as well.
Anxiety because I need to go into the office tomorrow and bring my laptop to soon start working from home. It's a huge relief and I was feeling so much more positive today.... the sun was shining and my cold was finally gone. But maybe subconsciously it does scare me to go in. And have people ask how I'm doing and such. |

Just doing my best to socially distance and only go out when absolutely necessary... feeling pretty anxious about going to the grocery store today because I know it's going to be crawling with people and the shelves, as usual, are going to be bare and picked through.

As you say it’s normal anxiety hits strong after some days off when you have to come back. It’s totally normal and you know it better. You will be safe tomorrow while going for the laptop. Take your precautions and don’t worry. Don’t have anything to be afraid. The country you are in, is well-prepared in case you need assistance with the virus. Finally, remember that you were sick, indeed, you’re still sick, you couldn’t do your job these days, remember it when you go there and see your coworkers. How are you gonna do your job without voice? __________________ Social Anxiety and Depression. Cluster C traits. Trying to improve my English. My apologies for errors and mistakes in advance. I see it. Here, it happened the same in the shops but now, the situation is getting more stable. It’s normal people at the beginning, go all panicky. __________________ Social Anxiety and Depression. I'm really glad they are taking things so serious now but at the same time it's also quite scary. Queueing in front of the supermarket to get in, plastic screens protecting the cashiers.... and then there's the little old lady walking around coughing.
Lots of stuff sold out. Still no toilet paper. I also got fired from my job today. |
