Anyone have good coping skills for panic attacks? I've been getting them nearly every day for a while now. I do some deep breathing and box breathing. I try to distract myself. Sometimes I end up taking my prescribed Xanax. I don't know what else to do. I'm in therapy but just started with a new therapist so we haven't gotten into these yet.

Holding ice cubes in a ziplock bag sometimes helps me when I'm having a panic attack, or a cold wash cloth on my forehead.

Other things that help me are meditation, my weighted blanket, aromatherapy, hot shower.

Sometimes distraction helps too, watching a show or movie, playing a game, etc

Thanks Blue_Bird for the suggestions. I'm having trouble with them at work though as well, so it's harder to utilize some of the coping skills. I am trying to do the senses one.
