I get chest pains and I know it can be from my eating disorder. But I had a bad night; now I have major chest pains and it hurts big time. could it be anxiety?

Anxiety will absolutely give you chest pain without a doubt. However, you should make an appt. with your doc. and to make sure everything is A-Ok.

believe it or not, wicked gas can do that too. I get the most unbelievable pains around my heart and just under the breast bone and it's actually just gas. Then again, sometimes my gallbladder is having a bad day and it hurts in my chest too. Ask your doc just to be sure.

I will talk to my doctor today about this. I had major pains through this long night. I am thinking that it very well could be anxiety. What I dont understand is; I can get this pain when nothing is going on. I could be playing a game with my kids and it will start. Maybe I dont like to loss. (kidding). But other times something can happen to upset me and it will start. At first it was not as bad; but its getting worse. Enough to double me over.
Thanks everyone for all of the advice. It could be many things, I see that now. I will discuss this today with doc.

I dont think its anxiety. I am getting this more and more. And for no reason at all. Can be calm not doing much and BANG. My heart does these palputations and beats weird. I have this back pain thats unreal; getting worse as the days go on. Is it strain on my heart from the lack of food or the purge cycle; when I do eat or drink? I know u all cant answer that one. Just wondering what this is. Going to bed now.

Actually, my bf went in to talk to him. My doctor had said that he wanted to talk things over with my bf; he said we all need to work together. He wants me to go in; do more blood work etc. I finally was totally honest with my bf, told him everything. My doc wants me to drink this boost stuff, I cant drink that. That is worse than food for crying out loud. I told my doc I cant even handle milk, water etc; and to get my bf to buy that; just boggles my mind. I will figure this out. No worries.
