I have the same problem with checking emails and websites, sorry though I don't have any advice on how to cut back on doing it. I just make sure that I have plenty of time away from my computer everyday. Are you currently in therapy? Therapy can be helpful in dealing with ocd.

a T can help you with the OCD part of the disease, which I have, as well. There are all kinds of coping strategies and cognitive lessons that can be easily learned.
My OCD demanded that I check all kinds of things. (I won't go into it since I don't want to subtly encourage my symptoms). A physician can prescribe medicines, too. They really can help. A psychiatrist is a physician who is either an MD. or a D.O. I've heard in the media of folks who struggle with addiction to the Internet. Hope this help you. |
