I take half of a .25 mg pill of Xanax every other day, i feel pretty normal when i take it and i function fine. I dont want to keep taking it so i have tried to stop. It seems like when i try to stop taking it i my eyes get VERY sensitive to light, mainly when i go outside and i feel a little dizzy and out of it. Mainly its the light sensitivity that bothers me though, if i was to take a half of the pill right now that sensitivity issue would go away.
Has anyone heard of Xanax causing this type of thing, this is the only drug im on and im extremely active, not depressed but sometimes i have anxiety so thats why i started taking Xanax. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Welcome to PC!
If you look up xanax at http://www.drugs.com you will see a list of possible side effects which may included blurred vision and light headedness. Those are stated while taking the medication. I don't know if they would affect you when not taking the medication. You can always call your pharmacist and/or doctor and as the same question. They would be able to help! Wishing you well! ![]() sabby |
