Thanks, ladies. I could just spit nails and hammer "him" to the wall when he does that!!! It's better now. He did what I asked, but now the wind is blowing like a banshee and cold to boot, so now I can't do what *I* wanted! SIGH!

I assume your talking about hubby?

I too procrastinate.....mostly out of fear....always starting any project causes me great distress and anxiety....and my wife doesnt understand....sometimes doing projects, I will break out into uncontrollable sweats, headaches, and muscle pain.....my only defense is to avoid it

my abusers programmed me with pressure to perform and with a conflicting program to feel insecure and fail. it messed up my thoughts, feelings and ability to set goals and follow through. i did all term papers the night before due becos i really could not get past the fear of failing and being punished to set out the work and do a little each day.

now i see the programming i believe i will find a way to undo it and begin to learn - late being better than nothing - that i can dream, set goals, make plans and follow through. i'm wanting to learn how to do this and not panic while i do it.

so, you are in good company, SeptemberMorn!!!!!
