I have, but not regularly. Mine comes from sleep deprivation. Hearing voices is not common with anxiety, but sleep problems are. So one can lead to the other.
If you think it is a symptom of something else you should bring it up with your doctor. I was scared to at first, but I'm glad I did now.

I hear voices all the time! ..although usually when someone is talking to me. :P But yeh, I don't think I've ever heard voices. As sometimes psychotic said, you're better off posting this in those other forums.

Speaking of sleep issues, I have those for sure, and have many years of experience with sleep deprivation; at one point, it got so bad, that I really messed with my brain, and ended up hallucinating wasps/bees in my room, and would hear them, which scared me senseless. I couldn't sleep in my room a couple of times. I'd spend probably almost an hour at a time (maybe even hours, I don't know) stood in the center of my room, just.. staring.. listening.. staring.. listening.. thinking about it, I actually completely lost the plot around then; I probably needed to be hospitalised but thankfully I pulled myself out of it. 'o.O

There was some long-term damage, regarding my mental health: I became absolutely convinced that my belly-button was an open hole into my body, and that.. well.. it's disgusting, but lets just say that I was scared to have a bath, so much so that.. well.. you can pretty much figure it out; I wasn't the cleanest guy on the planet. I haven't thought back to this for such a long time; I really needed to be hospitalised back then, but of course, nobody seemed to pay much attention to just how severely off-the-rails I was. It took many years to actually get past that same overwhelming fear; in some ways, it's still there. Sleep deprivation is a scary thing, and it can do some major damage if you let it get out of control, as I did.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
