Have to go to second assessment for T today and I'm petrified because I know what she wants to talk about and I CAN'T talk about it. It hurts so bad just thinking about it and I know talking to a T is going to be hard, but I struggle talking about how I'm feeling anyway.

Just scared.... so anxious

Thank you both... was very panicky this morning, I'm still not feeling great, but at least not panicking anymore.
I wrote how T went in a thread in Depression Forum....

was so hard... I was a complete mess from start to finish, went through a full box of tissues and I didn't even talk that much. Again, it brought up something that I've never really thought about myself before, so it's hard coming to terms with the fact that I don't know why I'm feeling a certain way and this other person is helping me understand it. Of course, there are things that I know make me feel a certain way, but just these two sessions alone have uncovered a lot for me and they're only assessments.
I've been asked to go back for a third one (that's two weeks from today). I'm petrified of that one too. Meanwhile, she's given me some information to look at about different types of therapies.

I still feel so awful, VERY triggered... went and bought a massive bar of chocolate on the way home.
I would have liked to gone in to chat now I'm back too, just to take my mind off things, but it doesn't seem to be working. So I'm stuck with my thoughts.

Thanks again

I'm so proud of you for doing this and going for therapy. It is so hard to talk about things but you have made a start! Good on you. Be gentle with yourself.

mollyyou are doing something wonderful for yourself that you fully deserve...by going to a T and getting help you will get better. i know it doesn't seem like that now but in time all the hard work you do will be rewarded with healing your spirit and soul. i'm so proud of you for having the courage to get better!!!
