Just earlier this evening I had an episode at a local restaraunt that looks to be some sort of anxiety attack. It started out with slight waves of depersonalisation...I wasn't quite attached to my surroundings. My friend talking to me and my constant looking around kept the waves just bareable. I could still eat and identify what was happening to me. About 5 minutes into the ordeal, I began to shiver almost uncontrollably. I made him aware of this, got the tab, and left the restaraunt. I drank a fair amount of water...about two glasses, returned home and layed down for a bit. The shivering stopped, and was replaced by a tingling/flush feeling in my legs arms and face. Similar to the burning feeling after a good run or workout. Right now my face feels slightly flushed, and the depersonalization or whatever has ceased. This has been the third experience I've had. Each one was associated with the consumption of the caffinated beverage Mt Dew either immediately before or a couple hours before. Not sure if this could also be bloodsugar/caffinee related.
