IAM GOING AWAY WITH MY AUNT TO CALIFORNIA AND I DO NOT KNOW IF I WILL BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE 5 HOUR FLIGHT BECAUSE OF MY ANXIETY LEVEL i DO NOT NOW IF WE ARE EVEN SITTING TOGETHER ON THE PLANE ANY SUGGESTIONS HOW TO HANDLE THIS SITUATION

Do you have some music that you can take with you? Sometimes listening to our favorite tunes can help us relax. Maybe you could take a book for distraction or even try meditating, try to think of things that normally relax you and try doing those things on the plane. I would ask my doctor or psychiatrist for extra anxiety medication to take while flying. And then do what ever else helps to distract you like suggested by gimmeice.
