Hey, katrinas! Sorry to hear your ADD is getting you down... definitely know how that one goes!

What exactly are these goals you're looking to reach? Maybe we can help you find ways to reach them. =D

I am 34 and after 24 years of being told I was NOT ADD, I was dx'd in August as ADHD. I started Adderall in August and started seeing a life coach who specializes in ADHD.

What are your goals? Where are you having trouble? If it is stuff I have gone over with my coach or I have tips for, I will be happy to share!

Hi Katrinas--

You seeing a therapist or other professional to deal with this? It's sorta tough to go it alone...

Hello Katrinas!
Well Simcha is right.
Also you need the right attitude. For instance, alsiases like Katrinas cannot help!!! If you try to manae it, understand the problem, accept it and most importantly talk with the people around you like your family. They are the best help in addition to the consultancy you may get.
All the best!
Regards

I have found that the combination of medication AND coaching (therapy if you can find a therapist who specializes) has helped me greatly! I have improved so much just within the last 2 months that I have been treated, and feel my self improvement and increased awareness has sped up just in the last couple of weeks!
