Just yesterday, I was seen by a psychologist, who has highly recommended me to speak with my doctor about being treated for ADD/ADHD...this is a huge shock to me! I am a 31yr old single mom of 1, working two jobs....where do I begin??! What questions should I ask? Can anyone help me? Thanks

The best thing you can do is research as much as you can. There are resources here at PC about ADD/ADHD and there are also other reputable sites that will provide you with information that you can trust.

You'll want to ask about meds, counseling etc. The more you read, the more you'll get a feel for things that are important to you.

Good luck. I hope things go well with your doc.

Sometimes we have new things in our lives. But if you need help is good to ask and tell who you are feeling. I did that and now I am feeling better.

Wow that is great and so interesting that it worked so quickly. Is that typical? How are you doing now?
