I am worried when I get diagnosed if I get put on medication that I will have to stop nursing. I am wondering if there were women here with either add or adhd that still nurse and on medication.

I know women that nurse and use add/adhd meds. While it is true that the stimulant meds do pass through into breastmilk, it is a tiny percentage of the dose given to the mom. If your provider won't look at Dr Hale's Guide to breastfeeding and medications, then maybe a la leche league chapter will be able to help you find a provider that will help you take meds and breastfeed.

This is exactly what I have been worried about lately as well. My 60 year old dad was just diagnosed, and as I read about the disorder, so many things in my life have begun to make sense. But, I am nursing my 4 month old baby, and worried about being diagnosed and possibly having to choose between nursing and being medicated. Medication has made a huge difference for my dad, so now I wonder...would I be a better mom if I continued to nurse my son, or would I be a better mom if I were able to focus on and engage with my 2 children? It helps to know someone else out there is maybe having the same issue...because I feel pretty alone.
