Hi,
I wanted to know, are there any insurance company that cover ADHD treatment or medicine? I have an insurance policy which is called "Student Insurance" or something like that but they don't cover ADHD treatment saying that ADHD falls under Learning Disability. Student and learning are not related to each other as far as my insurance company thinks, smh. After hearing this crap, I just want to scratch my insurance policy. What will happen if i switched to another company? Will my ADHD be considered as pre-existing condition by the new company and the insurance company will deny to provide me any coverage? Please help. Thanks |

Any way, stimulants are in high demand, so they will still be pricey whatever the insurance. It's just a matter of how much... I can't say for sure if switching insurance plans will do much good

I should have noted "Generic Adderall", my daughter's Vyvanse is name brand, so it is about $55 per month.
