This is troubling...been on new drug Vyvase for oh...just about a week/week n'a half.

Two nights ago my right knee sort of stiffened. Wouldn't bend all the way...no pain but forcing it felt like it would pop from the pressure. Yesterday the other knee started to feel like that.

Tonight? I can't bend either of my legs much beyond a 90 degree angle. I can't squat much at all. Sitting here at my chair I can't even tuck my legs in a little underneath. They feel full of air...like balloons...stiff as hell and even making stairs difficult.

I'm fairly healthy and stretch daily...and no this isn't from overstretching. I've been doing this long enough to recognize stretching problems. I haven't banged or otherwise injured them either.

Yest. I was a little concerned...today I'm pessed off and a little worried. Tomorrow, if this follows the pattern of increasing immobility over the past 2 days, tomorrow I'll be walking with some difficulty.

OK...the question...has anyone here experienced or even heard of something like this? I looked at a mess of 'stiff joints/vyvase' stuff on the web but nothing definitive.

I have NEVER had a problem with my knees. Suddenly I'm pretty crippled up. I will be calling the pharmacy and my dispensing Doc tomorrow. Arghh...I do hope it's a side effect of this drug and not some bloody serious problem. It's serious enough now! Tomorrow will be eye opening...if this is progressing as fast as it has been...like I said, tomorrow is going to be difficult. Very.

I think calling the pharmacy and the doc would be the smartest decision. Sometimes a side effect may not be part of just one medication by itself but also in combination with another medication. Has heat helped it any? Or maybe an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen?
