I am always tired. I take meds for ADHD, but it still seems like everything takes more effort to do compared to other people. Just to keep focus and read, for example. I could sleep all the time. I am too young to be sleeping my life away.

Thanks for this!

I seem to recall that my son's sleep was affected by certain ADD meds. I suggest you tell your doc about your tiredness and see what is suggested. You're right--it's not good to sleep our lives away.

Ouch this sounds like me 6 weeks ago. Got home at 4:30, in bed and asleep by 6pm.
Told pdoc what was happening and he adjusted my meds. Now bedtime is between 9 and 10. The extra wake hours I am able to work on organization goals. Not so tired and house is cleaner.

Depends what you're on. Some Meds have different lasting times than others. I've tried various ADHD medications, and nothing besides adderall worked for me . I'm on 50 mg a day, and the tiredness you're experiencing may be from the meds wearing off. I usually space my meds out throughout the day, since I'm on a higher dose, so by the end of te day.. I experience the tired feeling but by that time .. I'm ready for bed .

I really have to agree no one should be that tired I would try to talk to my doctor and see if he can either adjust the dosage to an higher mg or try you on something different entirely, cause I agree with the one poster who says it probably is the meds wearing off...cause when mine wear off I tend to get sleepily and I am asleep before I know it...hope this helps you...
