I'm getting very confused with this type of thing. i know all about this and have been diagnosed with severe ocd but i also think that i have adhd. is it possible to have both? I was also diagnosed with aspergers in relation to when i was a baby but i dont have the symptoms anymore.
i'm very confused. i just want to be able to concentrate without overthinking, getting agitated all the time, racing thoughts, getting distracted by my ocd. im so tired all the time but if is take adhd medication, ill get more agitated. te real question is, is it ok to use adhd medication and sedative medications at the same time? I think that this isnt true which is why im in the hospital for suicide. please give some information on this i know i would have to see a professional but im so incredibly complicated that not even they can figure me out. |

Hmm. I would think the two of them could occur at the same time. Perhaps you can talk to a pharmacist about medications if you don't think any psychiatrist can help.
Try to hang in here. You might be complicated, but eventually some doctor might be able to get you treated well. Okay?

They can occur together. My daughter has both, mild OCD and ADHD. She takes Wellbutrin & Focalin XR.

Many things can occur along with ADD. I scored "Likely" on the OCD quiz here at PC.

Yep. It's possible. Howie mandel has both ocd and adhd and i think some other famous guy has both as well.
