I had an ADHD diagnosis as a kid but as an adult they have it down as bipolar looking like ADHD. But I wonder if I do have ADHD because of a few reasons but one thing I have is bothersome. Basically I think and daydream so much I do not notice things easily others do.

For example there was a very big lawn mower on a little lawn. I barely regestered seeing it while my friend commented on it. I miss all sorts of things like people wearing coats in summer

This has gotten me in trouble at jobs when I dont notice things.

Is this ADHD?

I have times when little details seem to allude me, more so when I'm having an "off" day.I personally love to daydream, it helps with over stimulation that I experience with using public transit and living in a big city. Is not noticing small things a direct symptom? Maybe, but daydreaming itself is considered a symptom of ADHD.

In terms of work, I have to ask for direct and detailed jobs so that I don't find myself asking 50 questions afterwards (even though it doesn't always help). If you let your employer know that you have ADHD it helps make them understand. Anyways, it's a normal thing, so don't let it bother you

When I mentioned to an employer that I had adhd, she was like "oh well so do I, I write notes" me too, unfortunately I lose the notes
I am super spacey, and don't notice a lot of things either. I keep getting lost all the time when I'm driving, I rely too much on my gps.. Ughh
