Has anyone else had to deal with bouts of being highly energetic and then losing that momentum and becoming a couch potatoe? I've experienced this many times in my life.
I know it almost doesn't sound like ADHD but I've just recently read about it being the norm for some with ADHD. Trying to figure out how to level out with respect to energy levels. I eat well, take a multivitamin, and get a fair amount of sleep. I'm on Strattera, Zoloft, and Abilify for my various issues. I'm doing all I can to help myself but I still deal with wonky energy levels. Advice or tips are needed please |

yep. I found that staying hydrated plays a huge role! Also, eating a nutritious breakfast (getting some carbs, some protein, maybe some fruit). Also, planning when you take your meds. I was on Strattera and abilify at the same time at one point and I took both at night. I think they are supposed to be taken in the morning but I would just be lethargic if I took them. Taking them at night before bed really helped.
