I cannot pay attention in meetings. I have always jumped from topic to topic when talking and always forget my keys and phone somewhere. Lately, I have been misplacing work items and became worse than usual, stopped sleeping, kept interrupting my boss at work, but couldn't stop so apologized, and then had a day where I felt like I had smoked something (but haven't in years). Anyone felt this?
ADD or am I bipolar? |

I haven't got an answer for you, but I'm struggling with the same question. All I can suggest is seeing a doctor about it, but I know how frustrating that advice can be (it takes SO LONG!). I get that same "high," jittery feeling, even though I have never done drugs at all. Do you get depression, too?

I had horrible clinical depression for about 2 years, 5 years ago, where I could barely move. Haven't had it since. This last time I couldn't sleep and felt high on some occasions or really irritable, but I was also extremely inattentive and kept losing things.

Often times, Bipolar disorder and ADHD can go hand in hand. They can also share the same symptoms.
Ask your primary care doc for a referral to a psychiatrist or a nurse practitioner who specializes in this field. Good Luck. ![]() |
