I was assessed today for ADHD and it proved that this is yet another part of my problem. I never thought that I had it. Once my therapist started talking to me a lot of things started to make a lot of sense to me. I am an extremely disorganized person. I have a hard time focusing on one thing at a time, my mind is miles away even when I am having a conversation with someone. I sometimes can't sit still, I constantly loose my glasses and then get frustrated because I can't remember where I put them, my mind is always swarming with negative thoughts about myself. It's crazy to know I had a difficult time in high school and in college when I was there with focus, especially on the classes that I didn't care for. Truly makes me wonder what else I have going on with me.

I'm sure you're glad in a way that you got this diagnosis, since it helps things make sense for you. Maybe there's nothing else going on that you aren't aware of.
Thanks for this!

I hope that's the case. Not sure I could take many more surprises. I know it's to get me better but bipolar disorder, depression and adding on the adhd. It makes me so mad at the same time. I can't understand why my parents never noticed anything. I can't see how a parent could miss any of those with the symptoms that come with it. I won't let that happen with my son if he ever develops anything like me. I won't let him struggle like I have.
