Last year I was diagnosed with ADHD and borderline personality disorder. Both of these diagnosis exhibit little to no impulse control with bouts of anger that come on as fast as they diminish. It's hard for me to differentiate the symptoms associated between the two disorders. I'm looking to understand myself better and I do see myself as separate from the diagnosis I've been given. I have a friend who is diagnosed ADD and he was also given a diagnosis of bipolar only to have it removed and diagnosed ADD only. I'm thinking possibly this may be my case as well. Please share your thoughts and experiences you have had along the way to recovery. Thanks ![]()

Wow that is hard!
A good Pdoc or therapist will be able to tell you how they arrived at their diagnosis. Read this: TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT - The Neurology of Love and Loss in Borderline Personalities |
