Hi guys, I am 33 and have wondered for a while if I had ADHD. Sometimes I can do the more brilliant and clever of things and other times I can be totally dumb. I need constant stimuli to keep me focused and happy. I live a very eccentric lifestyle where I am always going from one crazy idea to the next. I would love to live a normal life. I wonder is there some medication out there that could help me ??.. Would the doctor think I was silly if I went to see him at this stage ??.. I can make relationships extremely quickly and I get bored of them just as quick..
Any support or advice anyone is interested in sharing would be much appreciated. I am happy to share more info.

Hello, needconstantstimuli, and welcome to Psych Central! The only way to know for sure if you have ADHD is to get "tested" by a professional. And, yes, adults can go to see about it. I think it would be good for you to know for sure. There are also meds for treatment, if it's determined you have it.
Thanks for this!
