It seems like I can't really concentrate on just one thing at a time. I'm always doing 5 or 6 things at a time and sometimes I forget what I am doing or where I am at with some of the things I am doing. I am almost 36 and I've only been this way for a few years but I wonder if I should ask my doctor to help me figure out if I really have it or not. Any advice?

just based on what you have said, that wouldn't make you adhd.. i do many things at once and you are bound to lose track of some things. but if you are worried about it, checking with your dr is a very good idea.......take care.

I have to agree with Kailiope. You should see a Doctor about this to get an official diagnosis.

I'm the same way. I was diagnosed at the age of ten but went my whole life until the age of 33 before i did or went to a doctor about it. I've been on sixty mg of adderall a day for like five months and it has its ups and downs. I guess it all depends on whether you want a definitive answer or see about getting on medication. If this new situation is effecting your social and home life then i would at least want a diagnosis. Then i would say go from there.

Def talk to your dr. It could also be thyroid, or other physical conditions that show up with behavioral symptoms.
