Does anyone know if there are adhd meds which do not cause/ aggravate Raynaud's disease?

Most of my fingers and toes have been going completely white, then blue, then burning red when they get even SLIGHTLY cold.

Stimulants are the only thing that has ever helped me. I am not kidding. I've done it all, diet, exercise, meditation, routine, therapy, fish oil, every possible strategy for YEARS on end, not just for a few weeks at a time, and nothing has even come close to helping me like stimulant meds. There is absolutely no comparison to be found.

It is incredibly heart-breaking to have to discontinue medication because of this, as I am very close to non-functional in terms of mood swings without the medication, never mind focus. I feel like the only emotions I can feel naturally are irritation or sadness, and anything else I have done over the years has just kept my head above water.

I am unwilling to take anything which causes lethargy or sexual side effects, and I don't want extra weight gain or zombie emotions either. SSRI meds are the WORST for those things. I don't know how they come up with the statistics for side effects, but let me tell you, they are GROSSLY underreporting the reality. Enough people have taken them now, I am sure they can afford to recalculate the nonsense they report to the public.

I've tried almost every anti-anxiety medication around and am currently taking a very low dose of seroquel to sleep. THAT drug itself makes me almost to tired to cope during the day, as it is.

Has anyone found anything that does not cause raynauds, sexual dysfunction, lethargy or weight gain?

I have had primary Raynaud's disease for many years but I will have to do research on ADHD meds to see what I can find out. It is a vasospastic constrictive disorder so I think stimulants are probably very bad for it. I will try to do some research for you.

I also suffer from Raynaud's... only thing that helps me is to keep my core body temp warm especially during winter. I have kind of accepted dressing like an eskimo for this particular reason Would also be grateful for and additional information. Thanks for the post Egwene . Hugs
