If it was me, I'd take them about an hour apart at first to see if there's any reaction and if everything was ok I'd start moving them closer and closer together till I'm taking them at the same time. But that's just me and I'm sensitive to meds to begin with. As for the concerta, I noticed a good improvement in my concentration the first day I took it. It took about an hour to kick in, but once it did I really liked the result.

You'll just start to notice your symptoms getting a small bit better because 18mg is the lowest dose. I take 3 18mg in the morning and 1 18mg at noon. I'd just take them together.

the first intake ever of 18mg I took it felt like nothing, it only helped with my mood swings and to quit nicotine, nothing more, but as you are already on wellbutrin I think it might feel more substantious to you, as its known they sinergize, and the effects of both medicines can potentiate each other. Any way, I think its more likely to feel almost the same as taking the wellbutrin alone, but if this happens, dont be frustrated, may your doctor will then prescribe a higher dose, and subsequently you'll feel better.
Any weird thing should be told to your doctor, as the "melange" of these meds is quite powerfull.

oh I forgot, you may know this already, but i'd recomend you to take it all together because of its long lasting mechanism (talking about ER methylphenidate that is concerta), which can cause you insomnia if not taken early in the morning, or as late as 4pm, I wouldnt recommend you to take it after. Any way, I was going to tell you, that if i were you, i'd take it with food to avoid any possible nausea or gastric issue.

I took welbutrin and concerta for two months. I am very lucky to be alive now. The combination was almost lethal for me in regards to how I started getting very final solution based self-destructive feelings. I went so far as to plan my demise.

I stopped taking welbutrin and I felt normal again. It was scary to feel that way.

But if it works for you, good.

I'd take them together. Like a previous poster said, it's a long acting med, you don't want to be up all night. You should notice improvement within an hour or two, if you don't you may be on too low of a dose, most stimulants give very quick improvements in memory, concentration etc.
