Hi All,

I read a very brief account of how cerebellar exercises like balancing on a balance board (toggle board) while juggling can stimulate the cerebellum, which in turn stimulates the pre-frontal cortex, which allows better control of impulses, hyperactivity and focus (i.e. it is an effective ADHD treatment).

However, I went on the Hallowell website and they charge $400 (which I do not have as I am a student). I then resorted to google, but there is a dearth of information about it.

Does anyone know where I can find, without spending a lot of money, a good, detailed explanation of:
1. Exactly what cerebellar exercises should be done, how long for, and in what way, and how this can optimally be built into an ongoing schedule
2. How exactly these exercises stimulate the cerebellum
3. How exactly (neurally) cerebellar stimulation causes stimulation of the pre-frontal cortex and how this allows better executive function

Thank you

Dominic

Hi Dominic

Thank you for alerting me to these exercises. I looked up Google under 'prefrontal cortex exercises' and there were a number of exercises.

I am not allowed to post links here as this is my first post, sorry.

Good luck!
