Meds make me feel full. I had about 6 bites egg, 1/4 of a pear, a cookie, and that was it yesterday. Most of it was after the meds wore off/before they kicked in.
Anyone else? |

Way back when I was a kid, I took Ritalin and boy, did that ever make me skinny from lack of apatite. I was under 100 lbs when I was a freshmen in high school. Then again I was 5'3" so I didn't look like some sort of emaciated skeletal human. However, time and a few med changes have altered my metabolism so that I now am fuller figured.

There are a few meds that will affect appetite either by way of increasing it or decreasing it. You may find that this side affect is short lived or maybe for the term that that are taking this medication. It is important to make sure that we try to make sure that this doesn't affect our physical health too much. Small snacks and often can be a way to provide for out nutrition.
Always check back in with your health care provider if you are concerned. |
