So I have an insane amount of homework due this week and last weeks assignments. I go to college online and work, and am leaving to help my fiance at a custody court hearing for his daughter in california.. 500 miles away. Today was my last day to get these crucial assignments done before leaving to cali but i have spent the day doing every task out side and inside my house that i have been meaning to do for the last 6 months. I feel horrible because i know what i should be doing but cant physically stop moving around and cleaning and organizing. Right now, more than anything i need to at least get last weeks homwork done. How do you stop when you need to but can't?

It may too late for this in your current situation, Lostinwonderland. But what the Skeezyks would typically do is to try to plan ahead how much I would try to accomplish within the amount of time I have available. Then, when I'm done... I'm done. As a take-off on this, perhaps you could pick one of the tasks you want to accomplish & "peg" it as being the final task to be accomplished. Then when that task is completed, let yourself be done. I don't know...
