I feel I always have racing thoughts in my mind, but I cannot identify, organize, and express them. Does anyone experience the same?

No as much as used to...but racing thoughts are one of my oldest friends!..they suck btw... These symptoms you describe are common across many dxs. In ADHD they are very different than the racing thoughts of depression and or anxiety. It more like your mind just moves ways too fast. So when you try to express the thoughts you end up sounding disjointed and you are speaking very fast. People have trouble listening or following what you are saying.. kinda like hypomanic I guess. It's not that the thoughts are actually disorganized it's just that so much is being processed so fast that if you try to say or write it all...it seems like you are jumping all over the place because by the time you start to explain the first point your mind has already moved 3 -200 associated topics ahead of you..depending on your processing speed and how much detail you think in. Racing thoughts of depression and anxiety start with one tiny spark and build till you can not make out any of it..like being in a crowded echoing room with many people all talking over each other..or at least in my experiences. There is a lot of different kinds of noise upstairs! Rare and precious are moments of silence..you learn over time to tune most of it out on good days. Also self soothing and grounding techniques can help with or without out meds. Relaxation is key..but regardless nothing works all the time...some days you just gotta throw your hand up and accept it's just one of those days..ride it out

There could be a lot of reasons why someone has racing thoughts. Are you trying to control something? Do you expect the worse in life? See where I'm getting at?

An ADHD brain is like having all the tabs open on your web browser. We get so much info coming at once that is causes confusion which leads to overwhelming thoughts. These thoughts don't allow us to focus and accomplish out daily tasks because we're worried and become negative.

Medication helps by allowing our neurotransmitters to process our brain chemicals. We can't let medicine to be the only working factor. We have to combine our medicine with our decision to adopt a change in mindset. This means, becoming mindful and meditating because to helps our to brain slow down, as we breathe slowly through our nose and into our belly. Then we exhale from our belly and our mouth. While doing this picture ourselves tranquil and at peace. To practice mindfulness, we think about something called 'response ability.' Basically, we reflect on our triggers, step back and look at our triggers differently, and decide the best way to react with our rational ability for a better outcome. This means less stress by our change in mindset. Mindfulness and meditation takes daily practice, and 30 days to adopt into a healthy habit, but it works.

Do you own a pet? Growing up my dad made certain I had a pet because I was less stressed with a pet. Shoot my pets had more energy than me. LOL

Create a plan to take on challenging tasks because it will help distract you. Do you like math games? Board games? How about playing outdoors? Let your inner child have fun it will help. Life isn't about stressful living. We, ADHDers, forget to have balance in our lives.

Do you like to listen to soft music, the ocean waves, birds chirping, or watching kids playing? I find water calms me.

I love to run!!!!! Not only is it invigorating but it tires me and I sleep all night. Yoga helps to center my emotions.

Journal whatever comes to mind because it relieves some of the open tabs in your brain. I hear ya!!! I hate journaling too. In all honesty, I've done everything I have mentioned and still do it. It works, but it's up to us to make it work.

Try the herb PassionFlower in tincture form, and make sure to take B Complex vitamins.
