Hi again everyone!

I am on week 5 of taking 30mg Vyvanse for ADD, and it is really working well. My doctor said it would be fine to take a couple days off when I don't need to focus in order to lessen the chance of developing tolerance, because I have mild (treated) high blood pressure and really don't want to increase my dosage of Vyvanse anytime soon. My blood pressure was ok when I went in for my 30 day checkup.

My question is, when I take a couple days off and go back on, I've noticed I get a lot of "speedy" side effects I don't really like, like feeling like I have to constantly move, slight shaky hands, feeling nervous, chewing the inside of my mouth, stuff like that. After a couple days, I'm ok again. Does anyone have any strategies or supplements that could help with this?

All medications are a balancing act...best to keep an open dialogue with your prescribing doctor with regard to dosage on a needs basis.
