We have a young women in our support group who is in total denial, she won't tell her Dr. about her problems and we see her everyday, her resource coordinator says he can't force her to tell Dr. she's on prozac for depression, she's afraid they'll put her in hospital. How can we help her?

I am confused is she having problems with ADD or such or is she having problems with denial of her problems.
I am a bit confused as it seems the Doctor who prescribed the Prozac would already know of her problem. The only thing I can think of is just to keep being supportive to her and suggest for her to tell her Doc about what ever kinds of problems she is sharing with the group. Good Luck and Best wishes ______________ ![]() (if I didn't help, please know I do honestly have good intentions & speak through personal experiences) If you think you have totally gave up, you haven't, because you are here!
