I have got 156 versus 47 and I have a prior diagnosis of AS.
I couldn't see detailed results due to not being able to get PDFs from here due to glitches but the diagram has points that stick out at talented, compulsive, communicating and perceiving. What's meant by hunting? And what's GADS 2 by the way? |

Quote:
This group contains passive hunting. One part of the traits is related to preffered habitats: (slowly flowing water, caves, woods, liking mist or fog) Another part seems to be close contact hunting traits: (jumping over things, cllimbing, cashing animals, biting, enjoying spinning in circles, strong grip, strong hands, physical endurance,) Some other traits are relating to sneaking: (walking thru the woods, sneakin up on animals, walking on toes) and general huning tactics (mimicking animal sounds, digging, throwing small thins, building traps, fascination with fire, sniffing) NEUROTYPICAL HUNTING The traits in this group are related to cooperative hunting. These traits are often described in terms of dysfuntions. Typical traits are recollections of environmantl informaiton (positions of things, scores in games, letters and digits, map reading) and passing on inforamtion to others (passing on messages, lnowing left from right, dates and times of events, remembering appointments and events, reading clocks and calenders, carrying over information between contexts) Other traits are related to trading and exchange with other (calulating change from a purchase, knowing what to bring to appointments, remembering squences of past events, remembering formulas and filling out forms) GADS 2 - Gilliam Aspergers Disorder Scale www.mhs.com/product.aspx?gr=edu&prod=gads&id=overview I hope that helps

Thank you. I'll have to try the quiz again from premises where I can get at a PDF within the hour.
As I'm well over 22 myself and a mixed autie-aspie type and as I can't find a link to it I don't think I can try the GADS. Thanks for raising the issues though, they are fascinating. |
