Just had to tell everyone how awesome Star Trek is.......it has answered some big questions that I had, which I did not expect.....

Feeling warm and fuzzy and had to share it

BC, it was a gradual process from watching it all over again. I mean, I used to watch it religiously as a kid, and in the last few months decided to watch it all again from TOS. I am about half way through the Original series and have been watching the movies as well.

The biggest thing it confirmed for me, is that humanity has its strengths and weaknesses. That logic should not become the new "religion". In other words, there is still so much we don't know about ourselves, and the Universe. I am not saying that Klingons exist but it is a representation of the "unknown". Having been a person who thrives on order and logic(and always will to some degree), the concepts in Star Trek tested my belief system, and I wish to be tested, even if it is painful and terrifying. More and more, I am willing to acknowledge the "unknown".......and create "faith". In other words, even if I don't believe in it, does not mean it doesn't exist.

I do struggle with it, but I am getting there

There are many other things I got from it, many other mini revelations, but I am still trying to assimilate the data......
