Just curious, are there any other autistics/Aspies on meds, and if so, which meds and what for? I am on Abilify 15mg for irritability and Celexa 20mg for anxiety. Both I was put onwhen my only diagnosis was AS, and I think they help mainly with the AS symptoms. The Abilify helps quite well with my overload level. Anyone else on meds for their autistics symptoms or related symptoms?

I was on Abilify for a while and it did help me with overload and socil stuff but I had to go off of it. I was on celexa at one point for depression before my AS Dx... it was horrid! I was SO sick.
Now I am on Welbutrin for depression, Valium as needed for anxiety and obsessive thought patters (when I can't break them any other way). Later in the winter we will often add something else for seasonal affective disorder as it overpowers the welbutrin alone. None of my current meds are for the AS though. Currently in the US there are no FDA approved medications for AS only meds that are used "off label" that help with some of the effects of having AS.

I was on Prozac, which made me less depressed, but I was still Aspergic.
