I just found out I'm an Aspie. I'd like to talk with others like myself. I am feeling pretty isolated at this point. It helps knowing others may understand the constant struggle I feel with communicating in the world.

The only thing keeping my brother from an Asperger's diagnosis is the bureaucratic jumble that is Michigan health care. After almost a year of trying to find an autism specialist, we finally ave an appointment for him soon, and we're setting up one for me too. My parents and I are pretty sure I'm an Aspie too, but it's just impossible to be sure until we can get an official diagnosis.

Whether I have it or not, though, my brother almost certainly does, and I know in part what you must have to go through. I'm here to talk if you need someone
