Was so busy with the DSM doing away with Asperger's that I didn't keep an eye on ICD (that they use here even though DSM is also consulted).
SRD? Is that my new label? Who the heck will know what that is? ![]() OK, now they are just starting because they will finish in 2015 but still. |

I'm not up on the latest terms, except to know some changes have been made for the new DSM. Maybe some one else will speak up about it before too long.

I was more under the impression instead of having Aspergers as a diagnoses, those with it would likely simply fit under autism spectrum disorder. I think the social reciprocity disorder is an additional diagnoses they are adding or thinking about adding or something of that nature.
I don't know though. |

DSM is making both classic autism and Asperger's called "autism".
ICD will (probably) keep Asperger's but call it SRD. |
