I was just watching a show where one of the characters does not think the Three Stooges are comical. That is me. I have never found any humor in slapstic comedy. In my mind nothing about it makes any sense. I cannot enjoy the storyline because I am always thinking the characters would never stick around to be ushed about.

I am not sure if this is one of my Aspie traits. Wondered if anyone else was like this.

I don't have asperger's, but I don't find them very funny. Maybe some folks with it will answer at some point, too. At any rate, you are not alone in your idea of what good humor is.

Only the fact that it's pretend, and my own capacity for schadenfreude, make the Stooges somewhat funny. Liking or disliking Larry, Curly, and Moe has no more to do with being Aspie than it does with being neurologically typical.
