Hi. My son has been on risperidone for about 5 years and I noticed he was
having involuntary movements in shoulder and arm and his neurologist took him off the med.. But soon after med was stopped he started with involuntary facial movements. Dr seems to think he is having focal seizures. EEG came back negative for seizures and now waiting for MRI. I have been doing a little research and I seen something scary called tardive dyskinesia. Had anybody had these issues after taking Risperidone?

I haven't but know some folks who've had TD following risperidone. Their outcomes have all been different, and most sought medical help, which you are already doing, and I'm sure will continue to do so. I wish you the best, and encourage you to continue to seek, if you are not happy with results, till you've done what you can!
