When the world around me is so variable, chaotic and unpredictable.
The thing is, if i just had a 9 to 5 job, predictable friends, predictable moments when i would go out, predictable sleep times and stuff it could be pretty easy. But it's not. I mean, currently i'm not studying nor working, i'm going to travel though. And it also sounds pretty boring doing the same thing over and over again. Maybe i'm wrong and i would like that, but i doubt it. But because i have all day long, there is not really any good potential for structure in my life. Events just happen, friends hit me up if i wanna hang out at random times. I get impulsive ideas of what i want to do. There is no clear line. And i always have so much doubt about what i want to do. It's confusing when there are so much variable factors going on around me. How do i create such an structure in my life where i do have the room for random events that happen to me and that are unplanned and not scheduled, yet i will be able to embrace it and not get carried away in confusion? |

Hi "Flying Dutchman", if you do get a job and are happy working in that job, you'll know that you can only have 25 days off work every year. As long as you can talk to your boss and he is ok with you having the day off, it should be fine.
And another thing, if you are invited to some big event only to find that it is cancelled, what would you do?

You can say about me that I'm doing nothing. But from my perspective, I'm doing something important for me, even if it's listening to music, reading something or daydreaming. And I'm happy with that.
Related to manwithnofriends' question, I'd most likely be glad it got cancelled - that means more time for my activities! The longer, the better. |
