This has been going on since childhood...Whenever I'm about to engage into a face-to-face conversation, I tend to create a 'screenplay' in my mind, to make sure I'll do right. Well, when the time comes, I suddenly feel ashamed to use certain words, like 'amiguous', for example.
Is this only happening to me, or it's another 'common trait' of Asperger's? |

depends on who you're talking to. If you talk about your interests to a clearly uninterested audience then the response you're gonna get is, of course, "I have no idea what you're talking about." Some even go on to make you feel bad because they can't understand you therefore you must be [insert word here that makes them feel better than you].

It happens everytime, no matter to whom I try to talk to. Even very simple conversations, like telling someone a funny thing, or what was the announce our class master made (e.g.). I'm avoiding certain words and it makes me feel like an illiterate, that's why I try to keep quiet no matter what. They don't even have to do or say something to make me feel bad...

There are lots of words that I never want to say (some words that I will never say regardless of who I am talking to).
