found that im not alone in my liking/need for these suits. (anyone else?) I have 6 suits and i been wearing them on and off for the last 4 years, been wearing them alot more recently, sleeping in them helps with my sleep disorder too. i got a pic of me in my tiger suit on my profile.
Thanks for this!

The ASD appeal of a tight body suit seems similar to the Temple Grandin hug machine: Hug machine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Also similar to the dog anti-anxiety vest, and I honestly don't mean that in a demeaning sort of way. Just interesting that other creatures can be comforted by that kind of thing.

I've never tried wearing anything like that. Personally I prefer baggy clothing because I don't like things touching me lightly. I am very aware of folds or creases touching me and applying a slight pressure to areas of my body.

That said, I really wish I could afford one of those hug machines haha. I like intense pressure applied to my back and sides in equal proportions.

Interesting:
  • Zentai, related wear and weighted vests for ASD and SPD
  • Weighted blankets for ASD and SPD
  • Temple Grandin hug machine
  • Thunder Shirts & Anti-anxiety Vests for dogs
  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for certain wounds
Pressure for calm and healing...

That was an interesting and informative link. Thanks for raising my awareness of Zentai. I knew some aspects of it prior to this but I've learned many more. I've also learned from reading Temple Grandin's book about her life; it was educational and fascinating.
