I haven't told my counselor due to the idea of him thinking I am a hypochondriac. But I suffer from all of the symptoms severely in my everyday life. I want to be sure that I have a reason to be worried so I am looking for some help/advice on here before I confront him. 1- I don't have any grasp on the rules of a conversation that aren't clearly stated to me. (Ex. I can't make eye contact or know when to start and stop speaking.) 2- I am very sensitive to sounds and touch (Ex. I can not stand anyone touching me at all or I have a meltdown. Also loud noises like the vacuum, garage door, etc. cause me to have an anxiety attack and cover my ears until the sound is gone.) 3- I excel in one or two specific subject (psychology and science). 4- changes in routine causes anxiety attacks and meltdowns (Ex. I must wear only jeans and a specified set of tshirt sorry a will have a complete meltdown. I have to have washed all of my dishes by myself, if someone else does I won't eat off of it at all.) there are more examples but these are the main symptoms I suffer from. I'm not looking for a diagnosis but I would appreciate any feedback or opinions on my issues. Thank you.

I think that you should post your concerns in the forum we have here for Asperger's. I'm sure the people there will be able to give you a better idea about things. I do think you should tell your counselor, though. If that is the problem then you need a proper diagnosis and the right medication.

Here are some links for free online tests:

Aspie-quiz
This first one is held in fairly high esteem. The results will be useful to show to your school counselor to back up your reasons for thinking you have Asperger's.

Autism / Asperger's Quiz
You'll find this test on a lot of different websites.

Nothing wrong with talking to your school counselor.

Chill out, no rules. People such as psychiatrist see it all the time, all kinds of illnesses. Can't express yourself at first? Just print out your post here, or another similar. All the things you shared here would be a guide for the therapist. Then they would guide you along on where to start, and other things related to recovery.
