I strongly believe that I might have it. I done my research about it, read other people's experiences and I just relate a lot. I have most of the pros and cons that come up with it, but I'm not sure if it's worth getting a diagnosis. I'd like to have it just to make sure that I am in fact an aspie. I'd like to have an explanation, a reason for me to be the way I am. I'm just not sure if I should do that. I heard there isn't much suport for people with Aspergers and there is the possibility that I don't even have it at all.

Hi dinolover

It is nice to meet you. I understand what you are saying. I would also like to know if I have ADHD but so far I am coming up short. I am an adult now and it was never diagnosed as a child, so I understand why you have a need to know if you have aspergers. I think it is worth a try to find out. In Brazil, are there any specialists near you? If not it seems that a family doctor could refer you to a counselor who you could talk to about this. I would certainly want to know as there are specific challenges that come with this disorder. I have a friend who has a son who has this disorder.

I hope that you pursue this and I wish you the very best. It is your life and you have to deal with all of the challenges that you face and if you find out that you don't have it then you can still work on what is going on.
Thanks for this!
