Greetings all on this informational site, what I've seen this far it seems helpful for all the different mental cases.

But now I felt that I need to stir up one of my own main problems in everyday life, and possibly help others on the way.

As of being a video game enthusiast literally my whole life this far (20 y.o atm), I feel that I want to dedicate most of my energy into that.
The problem though is that I can't put my best effort into my sessions, which I mean, to really give thought into it and reactions, like the most everyday "diagnose free" people does and takes as an entertainment piece of cake.

Not trying to gather them all into the same category, but mostly the case is like that.
My issues shows up like not thinking properly or using my brain for strategies in forehand, not seeing the obvious details and just being horrible at fast turns as well as a tough time being calmer the more details that are in front of my eyes.

I tend to have a hard time for being kept into the activity and as little as a random distracting thought can make me put it all down for the day.

Yes, I definitely are taking this as a major issue in my life, also it shows up much the same in real life situations too.
I've been trying to "experiment" a big lot of my time the last 1-2 years to find out where the pesky reason for all this lies, e.g using headphones only, lighting up the room, trying to close down all current thoughts etc.
Obviously none have worked.

I put this thread in this forum as I'm diagnosed with a touch of AS 6 years ago (When I'm thinking of it, no freaking way that it's just a touch).
Been doing horribly much meds during the time, although now since around August I've been completely free from all of it.

My number one dream is to be able to at least give some more thought into my hobby, to really react and find out to look at the radar and details like that every once in a while. Not just following a simple lane.

If anyone wonders another hobby is music production, where the same problems applies in general. Also ordered to do orchestral music into minor films.

Thanks in forehand if I do get any replies, I really feel lost in this whole jungle of mental complications I must say.

Wow Sebseb, you have done well so far. Many people attach a stigma to playing video games but this will help with motor skill support and development. Especially if you are so aware of the game or games you are playing that you come to know how to push the limits. If you know at what point you are struggling suggest writing that down. Followed by what and how you tried and whether you failed or not. Then try another different way of working to resolve the struggle. You might start out with writing out were you were successful first. And how you acheived that success. A spreadsheet Is one way and even a journal format is good. Putting things in writing helps not just you but others going the the same struggle. That way you can say, okay this didnt work but THIS did. Not sure if there might be an AS group that meets in your neighborhood but if there is not maybe you could start one. Get help with that from your doc and or family...or the almighty internet. My brother started one at church, one he didnt even attend. They still meet even though he passed away several years ago.
For your music and film work, is this music you write and or play/produce yourself? Or is this something you are looking in to? You probably already use youtube but if not this is a great way to go. There are a lot of how to videos and videos of others making films to music.
And of course coming here to talk with others is a great support! Tho we have noticed there are not a lot of us up very late. They are spread out thin amongst the many forums.
Keep up with what you have accomplished so far and we hope you will think about the suggestions. Sorry this post is long and scattered but we havent slept more than 3 hours since saturday. Good luck and hope we meet again in the posts!!!
These guys crack me up
