hello
I'm still trying to understand everything...
to be honest I've been called so many different things by all sorts of people, proffessional and lay persons.....
I never really have time to just sit and talk to my doc, they have such huge client lists, they hear how you're doing, up or lower meds accordingly.....
I have been treated for depression for like the last ten years, think about 5 years ago they diagnosed my with adult ADHD, then about a year ago or so bipolar.
And I'm left wondering what the stuff is happening!!!???
I heard about asbergers syndrome not too long ago, on a surf movie actually, laughed because the guy sound a lot like me.
then saw something on south park, but who can go by them anyway.
So I was looking through all the forum and quizes, saw the one on aspergers and autism, so decided to give it a try just for the hang of it.
ended up scoring quite high on the spectrum...
So now I'm even more confused
always knew I was different, but what and how have always been my question.
is it possible to have all of the above, am I a hypercodriac, or have I been miss diagnosed???

hello, many diagnoses (dx's) have overlapping symptoms so you may find you have various traits of multiple dx's so that is what makes diagnosing an art form instead of an exact science.
You can hang out in the various forums and chats and see where you feel most comfortable.
Hope you find a way to feel better about yourself. Here is an article I discovered today on building self-esteem.
