Hello. I would like to do occupational therapy (OT), but I am unsure how to approach my parents about this because the psychologist said they technically don't have to do anything, which means I won't improve at all, but I'm high functioning enough that it isn't impairing me significantly, though I have breakdowns where I cry about how I can't function socially and stuff. Anyways, but is it possible to do OT at your house? I would like to order an autism workbook from Amazon. I saw one that was interesting and would like to try it out, but it was recommended that I do OT to help me with ASD, along with my LD. If anyone knows if this this possible, please reply. Thanks for any responses .
