I'm a 27 year old woman, being diagnosed with Autism and an anxiety disorder when I was 24. I also have been dealing with some serious bouts of depression.

As a teen I wanted to be an artist. I drew, colored and painted a lot. They gave me a lot of joy. Since then I've been seriously depressed on and off, resulting in doing nothing at all but survive.

I've been wanting to get back into art lately, since I've been doing better. But my attention span has been decreased, by A LOT. I can't motivate myself to do anything for more than 10 minutes without getting seriously bored. And if I'm not bored, I just stare at my pencil/brush/screen, not knowing what to do.

Any people with the same problem? Is this ADD? (I really don't hope it is..) or something else? Any tips maybe?

ADD is common for people on the spectrum. Its a possibility you might have it. I have it, and take meds for it. I also take meds for other issues also. Depression though can cause boredom also, with being unable to maintain an interest in something you use to enjoy. Irritability is also a common for people on the spectrum.
I recommend getting diagnosed by a DR. A DR will be able to either prescribe you something for depression or ADD, and irritability if you have it.

Good luck

Same here, but I don't know if I had ADD or not (never test it).

Well in my case, I'm able to keep up on my attention on the routine, but.... only on few days, mostly on first 2 weeks. After that, I have no motivation and goofing around instead. Until 2 weeks later, somehow I'm able to set up my attention, inspiration, and motivation again. This goes like cycle to me.

Hope I can help. I use website name chains.cc. It's not to "cure" your attention, but it's good to motivate us to keep track on the routines.
Very bad attention span - learning no skills :(
