Hi i tried to commit suicide several times and i am not feeling good. I have aspergers syndrome.
But is it possible that it is caused by a trauma or some brain injury. I had a head trauma in 2010 quite violent but for drs no consequences and Aspergers symptoms were present before the injury. I have had no answers about this on previous forums. Is it also possible to become less smart bc of an injury? |

A lot of things are possible. Is there a neurologist you can share your concerns with? They'll be able to tell for sure.

Here are some links. You can see that there are several MIs possible after a brain injury, but Aspergers is not one of them. You can also have a look at the kind of tests they do to check, and ask your doctor for them. Good luck!
