I find this a difficult topic. Maybe it is justified for the most severe cases.

oh ect on children I don't feel that's right. Maybe over 18 when the brain has had a chance to develop.
I got ECT for my schizophrenic melancholia and it did work . I was scared sh%%less on the first round but you are under anaesthetic and don't feel a thing. The doctor came to speak to me and I said "i haven't had it yet" lol my first time my memory was skew whiff. But after that after each one I improved and unlike most people never slept whole day afterwards. I am a freak of nature though people. |

Good Lord I would never do that to a growing brain. How barbaric.

It sounds like a bad idea, though apparently it did work in this case. Overall though, as a self diagnosed aspie, I find the idea of ECT for autism rather disturbing to put it mildly.
